This last week was the my first real education in being a Grandfather. I stayed at my Son's house and got put to work fixing roof and window leaks and replacing broken floor tiles. After about 3 days my grand daughter warmed up to me and we actually got along quite well. But after the work was done I got rudely woke up with a cold shower in the morning and I took the hint that it was time for me to leave. You know the old saying that relatives are like fish,,,after a few days they start smelling bad. So I'm on a 9:00 flight this evening back home to my bride in England.
